Headache is so old and familiar problem to all of us. We all know medicine does harm to our health. So, we better avoid having medicine for simple headache. Now, matter is why the headache occurs of yours. Every person has different reasons of headache. So, first you have to understand the issue for which you are having headache and then have to find a solution according to that.

Symptoms of headache:
Some pain starts from back of the head and goes to upper neck. This type of headache are seen most of the time as a band catching tight.
The most intolerable pain may be felt at the temples and over our eyebrows especially at the place of temporalis and frontal muscles.
The pain can change intensity but not totally disabling. Normally it mean that you may continue suffering in a long run. The pain usually affects both sides of head.
The pain is not compact with a see below causing nausea, vomiting, or sensitivity to light and sound.
The pain spreads without any serial and pattern but for some people it may happen frequently
The pain permits most of the people working normally when they are not having headache
How to get rid of headache without medicine:
Applying ice pack:
Apply an ice pack to the painful part of your head. Try to it on your forehead, temples, or the back of your neck. Be sure you wrap it in a cloth first to protect your skin.
Lying down in a calm place:
You can lie down in a cool, dark room blocking as much as light and noise you can. That room can give you relaxation, rest and proper sleep
Going out for a walk:
Go for a walk and get some fresh air. Specifically, if headache is caused by stress or staring at a screen for too long. Go somewhere quiet, breathe deeply and let your mind wander. Your headache will be forgotten about in no time.
Having a cool bath:
Headaches that are brought on by stress can often be vanished by just relaxing. Have a proper shower with shampoo and clean hairs totally. A hot bath with effective oils can work wonderfully and even a quick shower can help to keep away the tension and as well as headache.
Initiating hot compression:
A warm compression on forehead can be a rapid cure of headache. The warmth is helpful for expanding blood vessels in your head that can make smooth circulation and help to get relief from pain
Providing head massage:
Have a massage using your thumb and index fingers for applying little pressure on the painful part of your head. Steady rotating motion, combined with little pressure is so useful. You should do this for 10 to 15 seconds and you can feel the change.
Having something to eat:
Hunger is a reason of Headache sometime. Eating a small but healthy meal and then wait half an hour and then you can feel the headache is gone. A little tea or coffee can be also useful. Regularly you should eat at a fixed time. Never be hungry for so long hours.
Having a power nap:
Have a nap even if you have to force yourself then also do that but have a nap. Nap can help your headache to be disappeared miraculously by the time you wake up. Focus on letting go of the tension closing your eyes. Take a deep breath and go to sound sleep.
Avoid using computer or seeing TV:
Now we often spend a long periods of time staring at a computer screen. Staring at a bright screen all day puts pressure on your eyes and turn into headaches. Flashing images can over activate your retina and the nerves in your eyes. You have to limit your computer use whenever possible. If you need to use a computer for work, taking frequent breaks will be wise.
Most of the time we depend on medicine thinking that that is is shortest way to get rid of that. But we forget that medicines have their own side effects. So for minor or random headache we can follow these systems to avoid headache.
